UNESCO in China ~ Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area

Located in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture in Sichuan Province.

Jiuzhaigou is reputed as a "fairyland", it features an integration of green lakes, multi-layered waterfalls, forests and snow-mountains with Tibetan culture and customs. The water of Joiuzhaigou is widely known for its crystal-clearness, pure transparency and rich colours.

There are rich floral resources here, and many kinds of rare animals, such as giant panda, snub-nosed monkey, and swam.

*****************************
I been to this place in year 2003.
We took about 1 day bus from the city to this UNESCO site.
Eventhing was worth as ......we all was stunned and stopped our breathe when we first seen the little lake ('Hai Zhi'). I never saw such beautiful scene in my life.
Each and every Hai Zhi was so blue and green and all of us can see thru the seabed.

'Hai' = Sea / Ocean
'Zhi' = Children
So, they call the little lake as the little Ocean.

Wow! This picture does look like it is right out of a fairytale. I have always wanted to visit the Tibetan area. I have a beautiful picture book about the place. I just love it!
